Matt Wolf

SVP, Team Marketing & Business Operations, NBA

As Senior Vice President of the NBA’s Team Marketing & Business Operations (TMBO) department, Matt Wolf is responsible for growing NBA, WNBA, and NBA G League team profitability through strategic consulting on all aspects of business operations, including marketing and digital, ticket sales, sponsorship development, suite sales and customer retention.  He oversees the department’s Ticketing, Strategy & Analytics and Department Operations teams and acts as the league’s Account Manager for the Denver Nuggets, Miami Heat, Oklahoma City Thunder and Sacramento Kings.

Prior to joining TMBO, Wolf served as a member of the league’s Strategic Development department, working on league-level strategic initiatives including collective bargaining, media rights negotiations and international expansion planning.

Before joining the NBA, Wolf spent three years in The Walt Disney Company’s Corporate Strategy, Business Development & Technology group.

Wolf holds an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science and Engineering degree in Operations Research & Financial Engineering from Princeton University, where he was a member of the varsity Sprint (Lightweight) Football team.  A native of Long Island, New York, Wolf currently resides in Long Island City with his wife, Erica.
