Daniel Cohen

Daniel, a recipient of SBJ's 40 Under 40, SportsPro Media's 10 NEXT Leaders in Sport.  Daniel leads Octagon's Media Rights Consulting business globally. Octagon's practice consults leagues, federations, teams, broadcasters, digital media platforms, telco and tech companies, as well as VCs, Private Equity, and financial institutions regarding valuation, strategy and negotiations.  Since its launch 2 years ago, Octagon’s Media Consulting Division has built a client roster spanning 5 continents and has advised on +$950m of media rights. Daniel is a recognized industry executive with a passion for building businesses at the cross sections of sports, media and technology.

Daniel has been a featured contributor to sports, media and technology publications and conferences as well as a guest lecturer at Columbia University and NYU. Daniel sits on the board of NYVC Sports, All Star Committee of Harlem RBI and USHMM Next Generation.
