Laura Matalon

Chief Marketing Officer, HAMILTON

Laura Matalon is currently the Chief Marketing Officer for Hamilton and manages and oversees the show throughout North America.   Matalon is an Arts Marketing professional with extensive experience in the commercial and non- profit arts and culture sector, spanning theatre (Broadway, Touring Broadway), opera, dance, and multi-disciplinary arts centers. Matalon served as the Managing Director and President of the company she co-founded, TMG-The Marketing Group from 1998-2008. In 2008 Matalon entered into a joint venture with Allied Integrated Marketing and re-branded the agency as Allied Live where she served as President for 10 years. In addition to the above, Matalon has served as the Marketing Director for various commercial theatrical producers and has represented more than 75 shows on Broadway and on Tour throughout North America. Matalon has represented 13 of the past 20 Tony Award Winning musicals and 6 Tony Award Winning Best Plays.

Matalon is an active member of the Broadway League where she has served on numerous committees and as the co-chair of several of the past 25 Spring Road Conferences . She serves on the board of the Lookingglass Theatre Company in Chicago; the alumni board of Northwestern University's Theater Management modular curriculum and on a grant review committee for Impact Grants Chicago. In addition she serves on the board of the Seller-Lehrer Family Foundation.
