Ben C. Sutton, Jr. is the founder and chairman of Teall Capital Partners, a private equity firm with investments in innovative, high-growth-potential lifestyle brands and services, including Riddle & Bloom, Tailgate Guys, Dyehard Fan Supply, and Sunshine Beverages. Widely credited for inventing the college media business as it is known today, Sutton sold his first company, ISP Sports, to IMG College, where he built the core businesses of IMG College into four national market-leading companies (media, licensing, ticketing, and stadium seating) and helped engineer the sale of the company in 2014.
Sutton is the recipient of the Order of the Long Leaf Pine, the highest civilian honor in North Carolina, and the Wake Forest University Distinguished Alumni award. He has also been inducted into the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame, the National Football Foundation Leadership Hall of Fame, and was recently named by SportsBusiness Journal as part of their Champions: Pioneers & Innovators in Sports Business. He serves on the boards of Wake Forest University, the White House Historical Association, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation, the National Football Foundation, and the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Foundation.
