WOMEN’S WEAR DAILY’s Jean Palmieri writes Perry Ellis International is “heightening its focus on sports,” as just days after the company launched a collection with Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa, it has “now stepped up to sponsor his entire team.” The company is now a partner of the Dolphins and its deal “includes in-stadium signage.” Perry Ellis will also become a "support sponsor of the Miami Dolphins Foundation’s initiatives." Last week, Perry Ellis introduced the Tua x Perry Ellis collection, a “line of menswear inspired by Tagovailoa’s Hawaiian heritage” (WOMEN’S WEAR DAILY, 5/7).

BOSTON BOND: Dick's Sporting Goods signed multiyear partnerships with the Celtics and Red Sox, designating the company as each franchise's Official Sporting Goods Retail Partner. Dick's partnership with both franchises includes access to tickets and fan experiences, as well as IP rights to be used in the new House of Sport store and online within the Boston area. Signage at TD Garden during certain Celtics home games will include Dick's House of Sport logo placement in-arena. Specific signage designation at certain games at Fenway Park will include Dick's House of Sport logo placement at both home and away team bullpens, and behind home plate in-stadium (Dick's Sporting Goods).
