Wasserman named DAN VERTLIEB senior vice president of baseball.

BASEBALL

The American Association of Professional Baseball named Chris Browne vice president of sponsorships. Browne was vice president and general manager of the Kansas City Monarchs’ predecessor brand, the Kansas City T-Bones.

BETTING

Penn Entertainment hired AARON LABERGE as chief technology officer, effective July 1. LaBerge was president and chief technology officer at Disney Entertainment and ESPN.

PrizePicks named RENEE WHITE chief people officer and PHIL SHERWOOD senior director, responsible gaming. White was vice president and head of people and culture at Warner Bros. Discovery. Sherwood was chief communications officer at the Massachusetts Council on Gaming and Health.

Simplebet promoted ANDRE BESSETTE to chief product officer.

COLLEGES

The University of Memphis named JEFF CRANE interim athletic director following the departure of LAIRD VEATCH to the University of Missouri.

FACILITIES

ANC promoted JIREH BILLINGS to senior vice president, revenue; ALISON BURKE to senior vice president, branding and marketing; KRISSY CARTER to vice president, finance; and KIRSTEN SAVAGE to senior vice president, services; and named STEVEN MYRICK chief people officer.

The Miami Dolphins promoted ANNE NOLAND to vice president of communications and JEREMY CAMPOS to vice president of human resources.

The San Francisco 49ers named MICHELLE ROSAR director of partnership activation. Rosar was vice president of partnership marketing for the Philadelphia Union.

Legends named DAN LEVY CEO as former CEO SHERVIN MIRHASHEMI transitions into a new full-time role as the company’s vice chair.

Sodexo Live hired NATASHA RUSS as vice president of human resources. Russ held the same post at Legends Hospitality.

MARKETING

DKC Sports hired FLO JOCOU as a vice president. Jocou was senior manager of sports communications at Showtime.

The Sports Consultancy promoted MATT WILSON to managing director.

TECHNOLOGY

Sportradar hired BEHSHAD BEHZADI as chief technology officer and chief artificial intelligence officer, and CRAIG FELENSTEIN as chief financial officer. Behzadi was at Google, where he co-founded products including Google Assistant, Google Lens, Google Smart Display and the Next Gen Assistant. Felenstein was CFO at Lindblad Expeditions.

RCX Sports promoted JACLYN THOMAS to chief marketing officer.

U.S. Youth Soccer named PETER DAVIS general manager, partnership development. Davis was executive director of the Dallas Cup.

The Premier Lacrosse League named TOM BRADY chief media and marketing officer. Brady was senior vice president of content strategy and development for WME Sports at Endeavor.

The AutoZone Liberty Bowl Festival Association named REBECCA DINSTUHL president.

Destination Toronto promoted ANDREW WEIR to president and CEO.

The International Golf Federation Board named GUY KINNINGS chair. Kinnings is CEO of European Tour Group.
