NASCAR named former ESPN VP & Exec Producer for Special Projects, Films and Original Content JOHN DAHL as SVP/Content. Dahl is tasked with overseeing work at NASCAR Studios and NASCAR Digital Media, including programing, production and operations. He will “supervise everything from documentaries and branded content to social media, as well as content created for the auto-racing body’s web operations and mobile app.” He will start in his new role on May 1. Dahl will report to SVP & Chief Digital Officer TIM CLARK. Dahl helped produce the “much-lauded” MICHAEL JORDAN documentary “THE LAST DANCE” (VARIETY, 4/11).

Skydance Sports named MGM+ EVP & Head of Scripted Programming NANCY COTTON EVP/Television; Amazon MGM Studios Senior Production and Development Exec SANDINO MOYA-SMITH SVP/Feature Films; and promoted Skydance Television SVP/Production DANETTE TROSCLAIR to Skydance Sports EVP/Production. Both Cotton and Trosclair will report to Head of Skydance Sports JASON REED. Moya-Smith will report to President/Features DON GRANGER (Skydance Sports).

Sodexo Live! named Oak View Group Hospitality Regional VP/Operations COREY DONOVAN SVP/Canadian Operations. Prodigy Search worked with Sodexo Live! to place Donovan in this role (Prodigy Search).

KemperSports named Toptracer N. A. National Sales Dir ALEX GOODMAN SVP/New Business Development. The company also named Intersport SVP/World Champions Cup JIM BOEDECKER SVP/Golf Strategy and Growth (KemperSports).

The BMW Dallas Marathon Festival promoted Senior Dir/Marketing & Partnerships JASON SCHUCHARD to President. Schuchard oversaw a record-breaking sell-out weekend festival last year, with more than 30,000 participants in the 12 events over a span of three days. He previously spent time with the Mavericks’ sponsorship activation team and the Cowboys’ sales and promotion groups (DALLAS MORNING NEWS, 4/10).
