Embiid returns to action wearing Skechers after new deal

Sixers C Joel Embiid returned to the court after missing two months with a knee injury "wearing Skechers sneakers for the first time after signing a multi-year deal with the brand,” according to Logan Reardon of NBC SPORTS PHILADELPHIA. Embiid was an Under Armour athlete but that deal “reportedly expired last October,” and had been wearing the Under Armour Embiid One shoes this season before Tuesday. Embiid is not the first NBA player to ink a deal with Skechers, but he is “the biggest name thus far.” Knicks F Julius Randle and Clippers G Terance Mann signed as the company's first NBA endorsers in October 2023 (NBC SPORTS PHILADELPHIA, 4/3). Embiid “hasn’t yet released his own signature Skechers shoe,” but there was a look at the SKX Flow, the model he wore Tuesday.
