Tennessee, Top Tier Authentics launch interactive basketball memorabilia for March Madness

Top Tier Authentics

University of Tennessee men’s basketball players, including first-team All-American Dalton Knecht, are selling signed memorabilia with added interactive features through Top Tier Authentics technology. Knecht, who was also SEC Player of the Year, is one of a dozen Volunteers to sign Nike- and UT-branded basketballs and jerseys, each of which features a QR code-adorned TTA Badge. Scanning it unlocks media content, such as videos of the players signing their autographs, as well as the chance to claim rewards and invitations to exclusive events.

Top Tier Authentics first collaborated with The Volunteer Club NIL collective in December with members of the Tennessee football team. The men’s basketball team, a No. 2 seed in the Midwest, defeated St. Peters in their first-round NCAA tournament game on Thursday evening. Other TTA partnerships include NIL deals with players from the national champion Michigan football team, Georgia football and UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
