Morning Hot Reads: Court Clash

The TORONTO STAR continues to discuss the ongoing legal battle between the Knicks and the Raptors under the header, "Knicks settle on-court dispute with win over Raptors. The in-court fighting can wait." The drama that recently unfolded in a N.Y. courtroom "spilled onto a different court altogether" Friday night as the Raptors and Knicks "attempted to settle their dispute at Scotiabank Arena." The Raptors are expected to provide an official response to the Knicks’ latest filing later this month. But "before that could happen, the two teams had to square off on the hardwood." The lawsuit involves coaches, front office executives and staff members. It "doesn’t include players" and "it was obvious on Friday how far removed the athletes are from the controversy." It was "business as normal on the court" with a pair of rivals going toe to toe.
