Berman: NWSL ready to be measured against other leagues

With the start of a new media deal next year, NWSL Commissioner Jessica Berman said the league is ready to be considered against other sports properties. Berman, a speaker and attendee at this week’s SBJ Game Changers event in N.Y., said, “For the first time, we’re going to see the NWSL measured against all leagues, not through this micro lens on behalf of women’s sports.” Berman also talked with host Paxton Elrod about her path to the commissioner's office, the state of women’s sports and what advice she would give to her younger self.
