The Atlantic Coast Conference named DEBBIE WILLIAMSON supervisor of women’s basketball officials.
Georgia Southern University promoted BRYAN JOHNSTON to Athletic Director Tom Kleinlein’s executive staff. Johnston is associate athletic director for public relations and communications.
The University of Mississippi named KEITH CARTER interim athletic director.
Siena College named ANDREW SANTANDERA associate athletic director of operations.
Seton Hall University promoted Athletic Director PAT LYONS to executive vice president for operations and chief of staff of the university.
Riot Games named JOHN NEEDHAM global head of League of Legends, while the previous co-heads JARRED KENNEDY and WHALEN ROZELLE will remain with the company in new leadership roles. Needham has been with Riot Games since 2017, most recently as managing director of Europe and North America.
The United States Hockey League named BRENT MESKE director of media and communications. Meske was media relations coordinator for the USHL’s Chicago Steel.
The Western Collegiate Hockey Association named JENNIFER FLOWERS vice president and women’s league commissioner. Flowers had been assistant commissioner of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
GF Sports, owner of the National Lacrosse League’s New York Riptide, named SHAWN TILGER senior adviser. Tilger had been at the Philadelphia Flyers since 1996.
Capture Sports Marketing named AMY KROEGER sponsorship manager. Kroeger was formerly with ESPN Wisconsin/Good Karma Brands.
GMR Marketing named MICHAEL SHEA vice president of client consulting and services. Shea is founder of DV8, a marketing consultancy.
ESPN promoted JIMMY PLATT to “Monday Night Football” director. Platt has directed ESPN and ABC college football games for the past five years.
Fox Sports Arizona hired JEFF GOWEN as lead producer for the network’s Arizona Diamondbacks’ game broadcasts.
NBC Sports Chicago named ED MCGREGOR vice president of content strategy. McGregor spent the past 16 years at ESPN, most recently as director of content integration.
CarrSports Consulting named MIKE THOMAS vice president and chief operating officer. Thomas was athletic director at Cleveland State University.

As part of its ongoing Inspire Change platform, the NFL awarded a total of nearly $2 million in grants to eight social justice organizations: Alliance for Safety and Justice; Anti-Recidivism Coalition; Campaign for Black Male Achievement; Civil Rights Corps; Gideon’s Promise; NAF; Vera Institute of Justice; and VOTE.
Tyson Foods named JONATHAN MARINER to its board of directors. Mariner is the interim head of regional sports networks for The Walt Disney Co., and previously served as chief financial officer for Major League Baseball.
