TOM BRADY has signed with WME for "off-the-field representation." The Patriots QB "continues to be represented by Yee & Dubin Sports for his NFL contracts, and by marketing and management agency Jonesworks." Brady's off-field activity includes his performance lifestyle brand TB12, which he co-founded in '13. It currently has physical locations in Boston and Foxboro and "plans to open sites" in N.Y., Miami, Chicago, L.A., S.F., London and Toronto (HOLLYWOODREPORTER.com, 8/1).

TO THE MOVIES: In Buffalo, Vic Carucci in a front-page piece reports there are "plans for a major motion picture" to tell the story of Pro Football HOFer JIM KELLY and his wife, JILL. The untitled project is in development. The Kellys have "formed a 50-50 partnership with the Hall ... to put together the movie with the hope of releasing it within the next two years." HOF President DAVID BAKER described the movie as "faith-based," depicting how the family's "strong Christian beliefs allowed it to overcome challenges" (BUFFALO NEWS, 8/2).

NFL CHARITY STRIPE: Redskins rookie G WES MARTIN created Brave Breed Rescue Inc., which takes care of dogs, and he raised $1,600 for the rescue with bench presses at his pre-draft workout day. He "hopes to entwine his passion for dogs with his NFL career that could give Brave Breed a major boost" (AP, 8/2)....The Cleveland Browns Foundation is launching an effort to "tackle chronic absenteeism statewide." The "Get 2 School, Stay in the Game!" initiative is designed to connect the public school districts with each other. Browns co-Owner DEE HASLAM said that combating absenteeism has become the "centerpiece" of the Browns Foundation (Cleveland PLAIN DEALER, 8/2)....The 49ers on Thursday “hosted the family of fallen police officer TARA O’SULLIVAN at their training camp practice and were greeted” by coach KYLE SHANAHAN, GM JOHN LYNCH and DE ARIK ARMSTEAD, among others, to “offer their condolences” (SACRAMENTO BEE, 8/2).
