Manager, Sales and Retention – NBA

Our business development team – the people experts – deliver compelling messages with passion and enthusiasm. We need self-sufficient leaders who love to collaborate with smart and fast-moving technologists, and who have experience growing existing relationships while closing new business.

We’re looking for a Manager of Sales and Retention for our NBA business to help grow and build relationships with our partners.

WHAT YOU’D BE DOING
Will grow existing accounts and periodically prospect and close new business
Will deliver compelling presentations to VP+ level executives with passion & enthusiasm that will motivate and inspire internal teams and existing/prospective Clients
Will work well with multiple internal departments from marketing, operations, and product to ensure we deliver the best experience for fans and our team partners
Is a leader, self-sufficient and loves to collaborate with smart, fast-moving, passionate people
Understands the app world and is interested in expanding their knowledge

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
Manager Level and above in sports industry (pro sports team preferred)
At least 5 years of sales experience meeting sales goals (NBA experience is preferred)
Live within an hour of a major airport in any city in the US and willing to travel 50%
Strong knowledge of technology in the sports landscape
Must be an authentic, active listening, problem solving sales leader with high level of emotional intelligence
