Qualified candidates will have the following: 

  • Bachelors degree required in Marketing or a related field
  • Minimum five years’ experience in media analytics, digital advertising and/or media buying required
  • Specific performance and programmatic media analysis preferred
  • Experience working with DMPs & DSPs as well as Social Media ad-buying and analysis preferred
  • Solid understanding of digital media buying platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, GDN, DBM, and programmatic exchanges
  • Must possess advanced level Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills
  • Proficiency with media planning and analytics reporting required
  • Experience with media research tools preferred

Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee marketing analytics for the PGA TOUR’s Brand Marketing team to help demonstrate effectiveness of TOUR advertising campaigns on fan growth
  • Create Marketing Dashboard for weekly, monthly and quarterly tracking of the PGA TOUR’s advertising campaign activity and results
  • Work with VP, Marketing, Media Services team and VP, Data Analytics to measure fan growth and other KPIs
  • Help implement digital tracking across house and paid digital media for campaign reporting, audience analysis and ROI
  • Work with media agency partners to ensure proper campaign tagging structure to analyze “in-house” versus “agency” media activity and effectiveness, ROI, etc.
  • Provide recommendations for expanding/optimizing use of TOUR’s media value tracking software system, currently MediaOcean’s Lumina product
  • Provide backfill for in-house programmatic buying team to support weekend tune-in campaign efforts (Social, SEM, Mobile, Display & Video); This will include working weekends approximately one out of every four events.
  • Collect and report on industry trends in marketing analytics and act as a subject matter expert for all marketing measurement issues
  • Support Manager - Local Media on analytics related to local paid media efforts to support ticket sales
  • Special projects or other duties as assigned
