Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of related general building maintenance repair experience. Prior experience with commercial experience preferred.
  • Must be flexible in hours and days worked (standard hours will be 7am – 4pm, Monday – Friday and weekend hours as required)
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, painting, HVAC, electrical, and/or other general repair skills
  • Prior experience with project management, vendor oversight and bid review
  • Excellent organization, time management and project management skills
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Memory retention skills required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills Obtain any locally required certification as needed such a fork lift certification
  • Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance including light carpentry, drywall repair, painting, caulking, etc.
  • Perform minor adjustments on HVAC systems (filter changes, drain pan inspections, fuse changes, etc.)
  • Repair/Replace locks and service doors and/or hinges
  • Monitor and fix leaks, clogs or other issues related to plumbing
  • Repair lighting (interior, ceiling and cubicle lights, change ballasts)
  • Replace ceiling tiles and performing minor grid work  
  • Install applicable signage and wall décor throughout campus
  • Perform company’s preventative maintenance program
  • Other duties and special projects as needed              

Essential Functions of the position:

The following physical demands are required on a consistent and/or frequent basis:

 

  • Maneuver packages from 1 to 30 lbs. frequently; 31 to 49 lbs. moderately; 50 to 60 lbs. occasionally
  • Walking, Carrying, Standing - Frequently
  • Driving - Frequently
  • Extensive hours in excess of 40 are required the 2 weeks leading up to and during the week of The PLAYERS Championship and the Web.com Championship.  Overtime may be required during other weeks during the year
  • May be required to work some holiday hours
  •  Environmental Working Conditions:
  • Seasonal Temperatures
  • Sunshine and inclement weather
