HR SYSTEMS MANAGER

Augusta National Golf Club has an exciting opportunity for an HR Systems Manager.
Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Manager is primarily responsible for managing and administering sound Human Resources policies, procedures and programs to include systems, benefits, compensation and payroll, while maintaining the confidentiality of all Club business. 

 

Essential Functions of the Job

1. Directs the design, selection and implementation/modification of all HR systems and third party vendors, to include: testing of new systems/solutions and/or updates, reporting and analysis, system interfaces, and configuration of HCM-provided solutions.
2. Establishes and manages a portfolio of existing suppliers, vendors and systems that support HR goals, objectives and delivery.  Performs periodic assessments and executes appropriate vendor governance.
3. Works with Benefits Assistant to manage the benefit program operations of the Club. Negotiates pricing with vendors, discusses all changes with the Director of Human Resources. 
4. Works with HR Talent Manager to determine the operational impact of proposed changes to benefits and compensation and oversees the implementation of program/plan changes and new programs/plans.
5. Manages HR Compliance Calendar to ensure that all required dates and deadlines are met.
6. Consults with TPA, Actuary, Senior Director of Administrative Operations, Director of Human Resources, and attorney in benefit operations matters.
7. Responsible for preparing reports for the Director of Human Resources and Senior Director of Administrative Operations, relating to benefits programs.
8. Analyzes and makes recommendations annually on employee premiums for group health insurance.  Coordinates communication of premium changes to employees and payroll.
9. With support of the Payroll Coordinator, manages payroll function and reviews/approves all payroll changes, additions and deletions before updates are completed in payroll system.
10. Manages FMLA and disability programs for employees taking a leave of absence.   
11. Ensures that the EEOC requirements are adhered to in all employee matters at the Club.
12. Ensures accurate and up-to-date records on past and present employees regarding service, wages, tax information, and other data are maintained for specified time frames determined by state and federal laws.

 

Other Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinates an annual audit of benefit forms to ensure the most recent beneficiary and personal information is on file.
• Researches current legislative issues, health care issues and trends in Human Resources and Employee Benefits. 
• Works with the Accounting Manager to complete 5500 forms for the Club’s qualified benefit plans.
• Attends seminars and workshops annually for continued professional growth and development.
• Performs other duties, which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job.


Qualifications (required unless stated otherwise):
Skills/Knowledge/Attributes:

Thorough understanding of HR, Finance or IT systems required. Experience in benefits administration, compensation, general human resource practices, and human resource law preferred.
Ability to think critically, prioritize multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines and accomplish detailed work with accuracy.
Ability to apply new concepts and initiate change.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.
Computer skills to include Windows based applications including Word, Excel and Access as well as Outlook.

 

Experience/Education:
Knowledge of and experience in system design and support.
Five years of professional work experience required; background in Compensation, Benefits, Finance, IT or Consultant field preferred.
Two years of management experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required.
