Rosalyn Durant Leaving ESPN To Join Walt Disney World Resort

Rosalyn Durant is leaving ESPN to become Senior VP/Operations for Disney Springs, ESPN Wide World of Sports and Waterparks for the Walt Disney World Resort. Durant had been ESPN Senior VP/College Networks, a position where she oversaw ACC Network’s successful launch in August. In a memo sent to staff this afternoon, ESPN Exec VP/Programming & Scheduling Burke Magnus said he “will announce more about our programming team in the near future.” Magnus described Durant as “the ultimate ESPN success story,” noting that she began her ESPN career in '98 as an intern in affiliate sales and marketing. Magnus: “This is a wonderful opportunity for Roz and a vivid reminder of the growth possibilities we have at TWDC to move in a variety of positions whether at ESPN or other Disney segments.”
