more About you

Most important lesson learned in 2020: 1. Gratitude is the key to contentment. 2. Resist comparing yourself to others — life isn’t a competition. 3. Always show up (even virtually). And, 4. Wash your hands more often than seems necessary.

Go-to person when I need help: I’ve been lucky to have had amazing female leaders throughout my career. …They always lend an ear, cheer me on and provide invaluable perspective.

My inspiration: My parents — Argentinian immigrants who set out to create a new life together in the U.S. at my age. The courage and resilience it took to make that pursuit is very much instilled in me.

In the industry

Most exciting aspect of sports business: I’ve become fascinated with how we can further personalize and elevate the fan experience, whether in-person or otherwise. The opportunity to continue pushing the boundaries of the expected, and to make that experience even more innovative and engaging, is an exciting challenge.

How my generation is changing sports: We’re leading the democratization of sports. From livestreaming games to keeping a second screen within reach at all times, our consumption preferences are disrupting the industry.

Sports should address social issues: Head on. Social issues are human issues, and we’re all human, after all. We’ve long witnessed sports professionals taking on the responsibility to participate in civic action. This year, it’s been remarkable to see the undeniable platform sports can provide and the impact it can have on advancing important causes.

Sports industry needs to do a better job of … : Reflecting the makeup of our population in its leadership ranks.
