more About you

Most important lesson learned in 2020: Enjoy the moment. … Being an individual who is passionately immersed in work, constantly striving for perfection, and never satisfied until a goal is achieved, 2020 has reminded me that, given the multitude of societal uncertainties recently, tomorrow is never guaranteed.

Go-to person when I need help: My parents, Mark and Christine. Both have my best interests at heart and demonstrate unwavering support in all my endeavors. Without their guidance and input, I would not be where I am today.

My inspiration: My father inspires me the most. He is by far the hardest working individual I know. Growing up, I would often accompany him to his office [at the small business that he owns in the energy environmental field] on the weekends. … His “lead by example” approach instilled in me a relentless work ethic that I attempt to replicate when serving my clients.

In the industry

Most exciting aspect of sports business: The ability to meet, network, and learn from individuals that work within different sectors of the industry.

Sports should address social issues by: As Nelson Mandela said, “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. It has the power to unite people in a way that little else does.” It is up to us as an industry to provide enhanced platforms that will continue to promote and encourage inclusiveness, empathy, and positive growth for everyone involved.

Sports industry needs to do a better job of … :
Showcasing athletes and industry professionals that have unique backgrounds and inspirational stories in order to connect, resonate, and inspire the next generation seeking to work in sports business.

In 10 years I hope to be … : A member of SBJ’s Forty Under 40 list.
