Major League Baseball named MICHELE MEYER-SHIPP chief people and culture officer. Meyer-Shipp was chief diversity and inclusion officer at KPMG.

Basketball

BSE Global named JOHN ABBAMONDI chief executive officer. Abbamondi was senior vice president of team marketing and business operations at the NBA.

The Chicago Bulls hired PAT CONNELLY as vice president of player personnel and JJ POLK assistant general manager.

The Los Angeles Sparks named KARI KORVER director of basketball operations

The NBA named VICTOR WILLIAMS chief executive officer of NBA Africa. Williams was Standard Bank Group executive head of corporate and investment banking for Africa regions.

Envy Gaming named ADAM RYMER chief executive officer

Football

The New Orleans Saints promoted TERRY FONTENOT to vice president and assistant general manager of pro personnel.

The Tennessee Titans named MONTI OSSENFORT director of player personnel

Hockey

The Florida Panthers and GM DALE TALLON have mutually agreed to part ways following his 10-year tenure with the club.

The New York Islanders named BRYAN CALKA senior vice president, partnerships, and TOM CERASOLI senior vice president, partnership activation. Calka was senior vice president of global partnerships at BSE Global, and Cerasoli was vice president of global partnerships at Oak View Group.

The Seattle Kraken hired JONNY GRECO as senior vice president, live entertainment and game production; LAMONT BUFORD as vice president, game presentation; and EVERETT FITZHUGH as team broadcaster. Greco was senior vice president and executive producer at the Madison Square Garden Company, Buford was senior director of game presentation for the Arizona Coyotes and Fitzhugh was director of media relations and broadcasting for the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL.

Soccer

U.S. Soccer hired KAREN LEETZOW a chief legal officer. Leetzow was senior vice president and general counsel with NASCAR.

Other

The United States Association of Blind Athletes named MOLLY QUINN chief executive officer. Quinn was previously vice president, fitness and endurance partnerships at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. 

Wilson Sporting Goods Co. promoted JOE DUDY to president.

Awards and Boards

BlueGrace Logistics appointed STACEY ALLASTER to its board of directors. Allaster is the U.S. Tennis Association’s chief executive of professional tennis.
