Football

The Baltimore Ravens promoted CHAD STEELE to senior vice president of communications, HEATHER DARNEY to vice president of community relations and PATRICK GLEASON to vice president of public relations. KEVIN BYRNE, executive vice president of public and community relations, announced he will retire next month.

Hockey

The ECHL Allen Americans named MIKE WADDELL president. Waddell was president of the Alliance of American Football Orlando Apollos. 

Esports

Activision Blizzard named HELAINE KLASKY chief communications officer. Klasky was chief communications officer at SoundExchange.

Riot Games hired ALEX FRANCOIS as head of competitive operations. Francois was manager of football operations and rules administration at the NFL.  

Marketing

Translation named ANN WOOL president. Wool was chief integration officer at Ketchum Sports and Entertainment. 

Truist named JOE SMITH head of sponsorships and regional marketing. Smith was senior vice president of global sponsorship marketing at Bank of America.

Media

Fox Sports named MICHAEL EHRLICH senior director of brand communications. Ehrlich was vice president of marketing communications at Independent Sports & Entertainment.

Penske Media Corp.’s Sportico platform named DICK GLOVER president and CEO and SCOTT SOSHNICK editor-in-chief and head of content. Glover previously held the same post at Mandalay Sports, while Soshnick was a columnist at Bloomberg.

Sports Commissions

Visit Milwaukee named MARISSA WERNER director of sports development.

Visit Plano named ALYSHA CARSE sports sales manager.

The Rockford Area (Ill.) Convention and Visitors Bureau promoted KRISTEN PAUL to director of destination development and NICK POVALITIS to vice president of marketing and sports development.

Tulsa (Okla.) Regional Tourism hired ASHLEIGH BACHERT vice president of sales.

Technology

Addaday named HUGH WILLIAMS chief marketing officer and KRISTIN GOETT communications director

Intel Sports hired JESSICA DAVID as marketing manager of sports partnerships. David was director of marketing at SeventySix Capital.
