Nick Kyrgios broke into MVPindex’s top 10 player rankings this year. For all of his outlandish behavior on the court, Kyrgios’ social presence is genuine and his social content is consistent with that of other tennis stars, MVPindex reported. Getty images

Rafael Nadal sits atop the social media rankings among professional tennis players, according to data from MVPindex measured from Aug. 8, 2018, through Aug. 7, 2019. The Spanish player, ranked No. 2 in the world, delivered more value to his corporate partners and added more social media followers in the past year than any other player in tennis. The WTA’s Sania Mirza overtook Serena Williams as the WTA’s highest-ranked player, despite sitting out this year following the birth of her baby last fall. MVPindex is a social media valuation that offers real-time analytics on more than 90,000 athletes, entertainers, teams, leagues and brands across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Google+ and YouTube.
