Colleges

Albany State University named JACQUELINE NICHOLSON interim athletic director. Nicholson joined ASU in 2017 and will continue to serve as associate athletic director for academics, compliance and student-athlete development and senior woman administrator.

Campbell University named OMAR BANKS athletic director. Banks previously served as chief financial officer at Virginia Tech.

Furman University promoted JODI STEFFES to associate athletic director for administration and development and senior women’s administrator. Steffes was assistant athletic director for administration and development.

North Carolina State University named STEPHANIE MENIO deputy athletic director. Menio was senior associate athletic director at Army West Point.

Northwestern University named KRISTINA MINOR associate athletic director for compliance. Minor spent the last three years at Rutgers, most recently as the Knights’ assistant athletic director for compliance.

CHRIS DAWSON, Pac-12 Conference associate commissioner of sport management, will retire at the end of the 2018-19 academic year after more than 40 years with the conference.

The University of Pennsylvania announced several promotions: KEVIN BONNER to senior associate athletic director of governance and administration; JAKE SILVERMAN to associate athletic director of operations; BRAD FADEM to assistant athletic director of admissions and financial aid; MIKE MARTIN to assistant athletic director of operations; JULIE DURMALA to senior accountant and financial analyst; BRIAN CONNOR to financial analyst; CHLOE COLE to assistant director of fitness and wellness; COLIN WELLS to assistant director of facility operations; and PATRICK SQUEO to coordinator of athletic facilities. Additionally, MARCUS MOSELEY was named IT services manager.

Siena College promoted LORI ANCTIL to assistant vice president and deputy athletic director. Anctil has been on the Saints’ senior staff for nearly 15 years.

The University of South Carolina named CHARLES WADDELL special assistant to the athletic director; CHANCE MILLER senior deputy athletic director; JUDY VAN HORN deputy athletic director for internal operations and risk management; STEVE EIGENBROT executive associate athletic director for development and chief executive officer of the Gamecock Club; and MARIA HICKMAN executive associate athletic director and senior woman administrator.

The Southland Conference named COURTNEY MORRISON ARCHER associate commissioner for communications.

Facilities

Fox Run Group named SUMMER BEAL account manager at the RWJBarnabas Health Arena.

Football

The NFL promoted BOBBY GALLO to senior vice president of club business development, TRACIE RODBURG to senior vice president of sponsorship management and MICHAEL SIGNORA to senior vice president of football and international communications.

Hockey

Monumental Sports & Entertainment promoted ABBY BLOMSTROM to executive vice president and general counsel.

NHL Seattle and OVG-Seattle named APRIL WEST vice president of human resources, DON GRAHAM vice president of events and KATIE TOWNSEND vice president of communications.

Marketing

Aquarius Sports and Entertainment promoted SHAUNA GILLEM to senior vice president and chief client officer; SIGNE ENGLE to vice president of client services; HILARY GOLDBERG to director of client services; RILEY FORT to client services manager; and ALLIE HOLMES to client services coordinator. Additionally, SAM BERSON was named administrative assistant.

Riptide Partners named NEIL DAVIS head of sales. Davis was executive vice president at Pac-12 Networks.

Awards and Boards

The Green Sports Alliance named JOHN MARLER, AEG vice president of energy and environment, to its board of directors.

Former NBA Commissioner DAVID STERN has joined artificial-intelligence-powered sports video content provider WSC Sports as an adviser, along with JOHN KOSNER, ESPN’s former executive vice president of digital media.
