The Los Angeles Dodgers replaced the New York Yankees atop Major League Baseball’s social media rankings, according to data from MVPindex measured from March 29 to Oct. 28, 2018. MVPindex is a social media valuation that offers real-time analytics on more than 90,000 athletes, entertainers, teams, leagues and brands across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Google+ and YouTube.

Javier Baez often uses his posts to promote his endorsement partners. Yasiel Puig was a social media sensation in L.A., but he was traded to Cincinnati in the offseason.
