The Class AAA Pacific Coast League Wichita Baseball 2020 franchise named JARED FORMA senior vice president and general manager, ANNIE LIFE senior vice president of community relations and charitable foundation and AUGUSTO ROJAS senior vice president of sports and entertainment ventures.

Colleges

The University of Arkansas promoted JULIE CROMER PEOPLES senior deputy athletic director for administration and senior woman administrator and hired RICK THORPE as deputy athletic director of external engagement. Thorpe was senior associate athletic director for external affairs and strategic communications at Rutgers University.

Marshall University promoted BRADY MANGUS to assistant athletic director for compliance.

The University of New Hampshire promoted BRENDA HOLT MULLANEY to director of athletics development.

San Diego State University hired DEREK GRICE as executive associate athletic director for Mission Valley development. Grice was associate athletic director for facilities, operations and events at Georgia Tech.

Southern Utah University named CAMERON BROOKS executive senior associate athletic director for development

Tulane University promoted CHARVI GREER to senior associate athletic director and senior woman administrator; JANA WOODSON to senior associate athletic director for external affairs; GARRETT BROOM to associate athletic director for development; TYLER KAI to assistant athletic director for annual giving; and SCOTT MITCHELL to associate athletic director for business operations.

West Virginia University hired COLEMAN BARNES as associate athletic director for football external affairs. Barnes was associate vice president and deputy athletic director at Utah State University.

Facilities

SMG promoted BECKY COLWELL to west regional booking director.

Venue Solutions Groups hired RICHARD ANDERSEN as chief illuminations officer. Andersen was president and chief executive officer for Seafair.

Football

The National Football League Players Association named TERI PATTERSON SMITH acting chief operating officer.

The Carolina Panthers hired MEREDITH STARKEY as chief marketing officer. Starkey was vice president of marketing, sponsorships and events for T-Mobile.

The Miami Dolphins promoted MONI GERBINI to vice president of ticket sales and JAMIE WEINSTEIN to vice president of membership and premium service, and hired STEVE MULLINS as vice president of corporate partnerships and LAURA SANDALL as vice president of marketing.

The Outback Bowl named BLAKE GUTHRIE director of community partnerships.

Marketing

CAA Sports hired BAYNE PETTINGER as an executive in its hockey division. Pettinger was manager of hockey operations and the men’s national teams for Hockey Canada. 

Eiger Marketing Group hired MIKE RYAN as senior vice president for its sponsorship consulting business. Ryan was vice president of consulting for Octagon.

OVG Global Partnerships hired NATE LIBERMAN as director of sales, ERIN DOYLE as senior manager of partnership solutions and KRISTIN MUHA as manager of partnership solutions.

Media

Outsports named DAWN ENNIS managing editor.

Turner Sports promoted HOWARD MITTMAN to Bleacher Report chief executive officer. Mittman will report to Dave Finocchio until Finocchio’s departure from the company in June.

Multiteam Companies

The Madison Square Garden Co. hired PATRICK SANDUSKY as senior vice president of sports public relations. Sandusky was chief external affairs officer for the United States Olympic Committee.
