Forty Under 40

Representing a broad cross section of the sports business, the honorees of our 20th annual Forty Under 40 class also constitute a new generation of leaders in the industry, as it is the last group to include those born in the 1970s. We are pleased to announce our annual list of 40 executives who will be recognized for excellence and innovation in their careers, all before the age of 40.

Those selected bring an entrepreneurial spirit to their work in media; at leagues, teams and colleges; as agents; with corporate partners in technology, ticketing and finance; in marketing and sponsorship; in e-sports and in new sectors such as sports betting.

Four of the class members — SeatGeek’s Russ D’Souza (2016), Al Guido (2016) of the San Francisco 49ers and Elevate, Boston College’s Martin Jarmond (2017), and Tucker Kain (2014) of the Los Angeles Dodgers — have each been honored once previously.

Frank Saviano, partner at Proskauer, joins the Forty Under 40 Hall of Fame as a three-time honoree. He was selected to the list in 2015 and 2018.

All 40 executives will be featured in the March 25 issue of Sports Business Journal, where we will tell the stories of their career paths and successes. They also will be honored at our annual Forty Under 40 gala, April 4, at the Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point, Calif. That event comes at the conclusion of the annual CAA World Congress of Sports, April 3-4.
