Basketball

The Milwaukee Bucks promoted BARRY BAUM to chief communications officer for the team and Fiserv Forum.

Colleges

The Western Athletic Conference named RON LOGHRY senior associate commissioner. Loghry was deputy commissioner for the Big Sky Conference.

East Carolina University hired CAROLINE BEVILLARD as senior associate athletic director for administration and senior woman administrator. Bevillard
was senior associate athletic director for administration at the University of Southern Mississippi.

The University of Memphis hired STEVEN MARTIN as an athletic development coordinator for the Tiger Scholarship Fund.

San Jose State University promoted RYAN MERZ to assistant athletic director for compliance, and hired DAVID RASMUSSEN as senior associate athletic director for compliance. Rasmussen was director of compliance at Penn State.

The University of Southern Mississippi hired BRAD SMITH as senior associate athletic director for external affairs. Smith was senior associate athletic director for external affairs at Morehead State University.

St. Bonaventure University hired RYAN CLINGAN as associate athletic director for compliance. Clingan was director for compliance at the University of Maryland.

The Southwestern Athletic Conference hired JASON CABLE as senior associate commissioner for administration and ANDREW ROBERTS as assistant commissioner for media relations.

The University of Missouri-Kansas City hired CURT JACEY as deputy athletic director of external relations. Jacey was general manager for partnership sales for Learfield.

Savannah State University named OPIO MASHARIKI athletic director. Mashariki has served as interim director since August.

Facilities

HNTB named RYAN GEDNEY national design director. Gedney was senior vice president and design principal for HOK.

The Oak View Group hired STEPHEN COLLINS as chief operating officer, following the completion of the Golden State Warriors’ new sports and entertainment complex this summer. Collins is chief operating officer for the Chase Center.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame hired MIKE CRAWFORD as chief executive officer for the Johnson Controls Hall of Fame Village. Crawford was global president of portfolio management for the Four Seasons Hotel and Resorts Co.

Santa Anita Park promoted ANDY LAROCCO to track superintendent and JASON SPETNAGEL to vice president of operations.

Football

The Miami Dolphins hired KIMBERLY ROMETO as vice president and chief information officer.

The National Football League hired JON SCHWARTZ as senior vice president of communications and public affairs. Schwartz was managing director of integrated marketing communications for NASCAR.

Horse Racing

The National Thoroughbred Racing Association hired ALICIA WINCZE-HUGHES as director of NTRA communications. Wincze-Hughes was a staff writer and racing editor for BloodHorse.

Marketing

JMI Sports named NICOLE BIENERT METZGER chief revenue officer for Clemson Sports and Campus Marketing at Clemson University. Metzger was vice president of partnership development for Hornets Sports and Entertainment.

Learfield promoted ALICIA HAWKS to general manager for Vermont Sports Properties at the University of Vermont, and named MIKE MACCONNELL general manager for Big Green Sports Properties at Dartmouth College.

The Aspire Group promoted MICHAEL STOVER to senior new business sales consultant at the University of Maryland, and hired EVAN HANNON as sales and service consultant at Loyola Marymount University.

Charge promoted CHRIS MYERS to vice president of marketing and client services, REBEKAH MEYER to director of marketing services, KYLE RICHERT to account director and KYLE GINTY to program manager.

Collegiate Sports Management Group promoted KYLE ZHANG to director of marketing and analytics and DAN GIRARD to director of media and property partnerships, and hired THOMAS O’KEEFE as manager of brand partnerships and esports.

WME promoted ARI GREENBURG to president.

Netflix hired SPENCER NEUMANN as chief financial officer. Neumann was chief financial officer for Activision Blizzard.

Formula One Group Director of Communications NORMAN HOWELL stepped down from his position.

Olympics

USA Cycling named ERICA CLEVENGER, BOB SAFFELL and JULIA VIOLICH to its board of directors.

USA Hockey hired KELLY MAHNCKE as assistant executive director of finance.

USA Swimming promoted LUCINDA MCROBERTS to chief administrative officer in addition to her role as general counsel and head of business affairs, ABIGAIL HOWARD to associate counsel and director of safe sport, ISABELLE MCLEMORE to managing director of communications and JAKE GROSSER to director of business intelligence; and hired ERIC SKUFCA as chief financial officer.

The United States Olympic Committee named to its board of directors: RICH BENDER, USA Wrestling executive director; BRAD SNYDER, a retired U.S. Navy lieutenant and seven-time medalist in Para swimming; and BETH BROOKE-MARCINIAK, global vice chair of public policy for EY.

U.S. Soccer named ASHER MENDELSOHN chief soccer officer. Mendelsohn was director of soccer operations for the Columbus Crew.

Orlando City SC hired LUIZ MUZZI as executive vice president of soccer operations. Muzzi was vice president of soccer operations for FC Dallas.

The USL League One Richmond Kickers hired MATT SPEAR as president. Spear was head men’s soccer coach at Davidson College.

Major League Soccer expansion franchise Austin FC hired ANDY LOUGHNANE as president. Loughnane was president of business operations for the Columbus Crew.

Toronto FC hired ALI CURTIS as general manager. Curtis was formerly sporting director for the New York Red Bulls.

Panini America promoted BRIAN BAYNE to vice president of acquisitions and Panini Direct.
