Basketball

The NBA G League Wisconsin Herd hired OLIVIA HILL as director of communications and community relations, SCOTT JENSEN as director of marketing and digital and SIDNEY DOBNER as coaching video associate.

 

Colleges

The Sun Belt Conference hired TONI DERBY and CAT KRAWIEC as assistant directors of championships.

Columbia University named ERICH ELY director of athletics development. Ely was associate athletic director for facilities operations, athletic events and capital projects for the university.

East Carolina University’s chief operating officer and senior associate athletic director for administration, LEE WORKMAN, will retire, effective Dec. 31, after 34 years at the university.

Hofstra University hired RACHEL VOGEL as assistant director of athletic communications. Vogel was assistant director of athletic communications at the University of New Haven.

The University of North Carolina at Asheville hired JOSH BAKER as director of marketing and fan engagement. Baker was director of marketing and fan experience at Kennesaw State University.

Rice University hired JP ABERCRUMBIE as assistant athletic director for student athlete development. Abercrumbie was assistant athletic director for life skills and community engagement at Mississippi State University.

Syracuse University hired ANDREW GOODRICH as deputy athletic director and chief marketing officer. Goodrich was senior associate athletic director for external relations at the University of South Florida.

Towson University hired MIKE GATHAGAN as senior associate athletic director for strategic communications.

Facilities

PCL Construction hired DERON BROWN as president and chief operating officer for U.S. operations.

Soccer

The United Soccer League hired KAREN GITTENS as chief financial officer and CASEY MILLS as director of USL League One operations.

Other

Merck hired JIM SCHOLEFIELD as chief information and digital officer. Scholefield was chief information officer for Nike.

Snodgrass Partners hired ELIZABETH DALTON as vice president for the collegiate sports division and named CHRIS CLOUSER and MIKE GOSS
strategic advisers.
