THINK450, the NBPA’s internal marketing rights group, promoted JOI GARNER to general counsel, and hired PAYNE BROWN as president.

 

The Houston Rockets promoted MONTE MCNAIR to assistant general manager.

Colleges

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock hired STERLING RANDLE as associate director for communications.

Central Michigan University promoted RACHEL BLUNT to senior associate athletic director for institutional support services.

Chicago State University hired ERYN COOK as associate athletic director for compliance. Cook was assistant commissioner for compliance for the Summit League.

Duke University promoted NINA KING to senior deputy athletic director for administration, legal affairs and chief of staff; JON JACKSON to deputy athletic director for men’s basketball, Blue Devil Network and digital media; and ART CHASE to senior associate athletic director for external affairs.

The University of Kansas promoted FRANK REEB to assistant athletic director for human resources.

Radford University hired DAVID GANSELL as assistant athletic director for communications. Gansell was director of athletic communications at St. Francis College.

The University of Texas at Arlington promoted MICHAEL ELDRIDGE to assistant athletic director for communications; and hired JASON MACBAIN as associate athletic director for communications, MIKE HILL as assistant director for communications and NEIL BEASLEY as director of video

The University of Wyoming promoted RACHAEL HULET to associate athletic director for budgeting and financial management, TAYLOR STUEMKY to assistant athletic director for student-athlete success, BRENT VERNON to associate athletic director for football operations, NICK SEEMAN to assistant athletic director for media relations and public relations and LONNIE PENNER to assistant athletic director for marketing and branding.

Facilities

The Los Angeles Stadium and Entertainment District hired JASON GANNON as managing director.

Football

The XFL hired STEPHANIE RUDNICK as senior vice president of communications. Rudnick was senior vice president of marketing communications for MKTG.

The Allstate Sugar Bowl hired DEREK MOREL as executive vice president for sales and marketing. Morel was athletic director at
the University of New Orleans. 

Lacrosse

Major League Lacrosse hired BUDDY ROSE as director of events. Rose was director of consumer marketing for Palace Sports & Entertainment.

Marketing

Endeavor hired KERRY CHANDLER as chief human resources officer. Chandler was chief human resources officer for Under Armour.

Fox Run Group hired CHRISTINA POPES as account manager for sponsorships and advertising for Monmouth University and KATIE HUNT as sales and marketing administrator at its corporate headquarters.

Huddle hired KARL MAWHINNEY as executive vice president of corporate partnerships and BOB CRAMER as senior vice president of partnership solutions. Mawhinney was vice president of global partnerships for the Harlem Globetrotters, and Cramer was group director for sports marketing for Coca-Cola.

Integrity 9 hired DYLAN GLICKSTERN as director of business development. Glickstern was sales manager for Excel Sports Management.

MELT hired ANDREW LABOVITZ as a group account director. Labovitz was managing account supervisor for Ketchum.

MWWPR hired SARA GHAZAII as vice president of corporate communications and marketing. Ghazaii was vice president and director of communications for PR Council.

Media

Golf Channel named MATT FARRELL general manager for alternative golf and executive director for the World Long Drive Association. Farrell was chief marketing officer for USA Swimming.

Multiteam Companies

AMB Sports & Entertainment promoted KARL PIERBURG to vice president of technology, data and analytics for the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United and Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Monumental Sports & Entertainment hired JEFF NEWMAN as vice president of global partnerships. Newman was vice president of experiential sales for iHeart Media.

Sporting Goods and Apparel

Fanatics hired for its international leadership team IGNACIO BERISTAIN BORRA as managing director of Southern Europe merchandising and retail; BILL TUNG as managing director for Fanatics Branded International; IAN NELSON as product marketing director and ZOHAR RAVID as director of strategy and mergers and acquisitions.

The PGA of America named ANDREA SMITH, Bank of America chief administrative officer, to its board of directors.

Other

Stats hired BLAKE KONRARDY as vice president of product management.

The World Surf League hired ERIK LOGAN as president of content, media and WSL Studios. Logan was president for the Oprah Winfrey Network.

Bellator promoted MEGAN TRAPP to vice president of live event marketing.
