Pricey 'Pass'

NBC Sports Gold, the network’s streaming product, is offering its “Snow Pass” — which will provide more than 700 hours of live skiing and snowboarding events — for the overly ambitious cost of $69.99. That might be a tough sell even before the Olympics.

Fantasy And Reality

An Indiana judge ruled in favor of defendants DraftKings and FanDuel in a case that centered on whether or not daily fantasy companies needed to compensate college athletes for use of their name and likeness. It’s a big win for the companies but a loss for players, especially as in-game sports gambling becomes more popular.
