Major League Baseball released a postseason preview ad that touted its dynamic young stars and lent support to the excitable style of play that has traditionally grated on old-school followers of the game, a signal that MLB is aware of its perception
problem and is willing to combat it.
Minnesota Wild season-ticket holders voted overwhelmingly to replace “Let’s Go Crazy,” by late native son Prince, with another song after the Wild scores at Xcel Energy Center. The eventual choice was “Crowd Chant,” by Joe Satriani, which had been the goal-scoring anthem before Prince died in 2016.
