Basketball

The Atlanta Hawks and Philips Arena hired KATRINA JOHNSON as manager of corporate partnerships. Johnson was a southeast sales executive for Pandora Media.

 

Colleges

The National Collegiate Athletic Association hired STAN WILCOX as executive vice president of regulatory affairs. Wilcox was vice president and athletic director at Florida State University.

 

The America East Conference hired BRANDI GUERINOT as associate commissioner for compliance and governance and senior woman administrator and MARCUS BISHOP as assistant director for operations.

 

The University of Illinois hired BRIAN RUSSELL as associate athletic director for academic services and student-athlete development. Russell was director of student-athlete academic support services at the University of Tennessee.

 

Johns Hopkins University named JONATHAN KINDRED assistant athletic director for compliance and game operations. Kindred was assistant director of student athlete success at the university.

 

University of Louisiana Monroe Athletic Director NICK FLOYD will step down from his position, effective Sept. 4, to focus on managing a physical health issue. Floyd will be assigned a position within the university administration through Dec. 31.

 

The University of Maine named KEN RALPH athletic director. Ralph was athletic director at Colorado College.

 

The University of North Carolina Wilmington hired MIKE DONOVAN as an assistant director for the Seahawk Club.

 

Northern Arizona University hired ALEX LAIS as assistant athletic director for marketing and HAILEE CODIGA as director of ticketing. Lais was marketing manager at the University of Southern California, and Codiga was an account executive for IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions at the University of Oregon.

 

The University of Northern Illinois promoted JOHN CHENEY to executive associate athletic director and LISA STOCKSDALE to associate athletic director.

 

The University of Oklahoma hired ARMANI DAWKINS as senior associate athletic director. Dawkins was associate athletic director for student-athlete development at the College of the Holy Cross.

 

Portland State University promoted TRINITY GIBBONS to associate athletic director for sales and marketing and DANA CAPPELUCCI to interim associate athletic director for compliance and student services and senior woman administrator.

 

Southern Illinois University Edwardsville hired CHRIS WRIGHT as assistant athletic director for ticketing and annual fund and ALLIE WIELANSKY as director of external affairs.

 

The University of Southern Mississippi hired JEFF MITCHELL as deputy athletic director. Mitchell was senior associate athletic director for external operations at Santa Clara University.

 

Temple University promoted MORGYN SEIGFRIED to associate athletic director for digital strategy and production.

 

The University of Texas at El Paso promoted ROBERT ACUNTO to senior associate athletic director for external relations, and hired NICK POPPLEWELL as associate athletic director for development.

Washington State University hired KRISTA RAMMELSBERG as director of Spokane operations for the Cougar Athletic Fund. Rammelsberg was a major gift officer at the University of Washington.

The Los Angeles Kings hired McKENNA LEDESMA and JESSE ESTRADA as group sales representatives.

 

The Toronto Maple Leafs promoted SCOTT PELLERIN to senior director of player development and STÉPHANE ROBIDAS to director of player development, and hired HAYLEY WICKENHEISER as assistant director of player development.

 

Marketing

GMR Marketing hired BARBARA CARPENTER as head of research and ALLA DRAGOUN as strategic planning director.

 

Home Team Sports promoted ALYSSA ZELEZNIK to vice president of integrated sales for its Los Angeles office, BRYAN TELLADO to vice president of corporate finance and RICK GOMEZ to manager of partnership activation.
