Authentic Athletix in the mix among NFL agent changes

Authentic Athletix has signed Denver Broncos strong safety Su’a Cravens and Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Darren Carrington, two of a number of recent NFL player agent switches. Peter Schaffer, founder of Denver-based Authentic Athletix, is representing Cravens, while Schaffer and Dave Silva are representing Carrington.

Cravens was formerly with TDE Sports, and Carrington was formerly with Vanguard Sports Group.

In other representation news:

■ New England Patriots wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson has switched agents, signing with Sean Kiernan of Select Sports Group. He formerly was represented by Vanguard Sports Group.

DEC Management has signed Dolphins cornerback Tony Lippett. He is being represented by David Canter. Lippett formerly was represented by Young Money APAA Sports.

■ Young Money APAA Sports has signed Eagles offensive tackle Toby Weathersby. Agents Andy Simms and Cody Recchion are representing him. He formerly was represented by Dream Point Sports.

CAA Sports has signed Houston Texans wide receiver Braxton Miller. He’s being represented by a team of agents led by Todd France and Ben Renzin. Miller was formerly with VaynerSports.

“While we are disappointed to no longer be working with Braxton, we wish him all the best,” said A.J. Vaynerchuk, VaynerSports co-founder.

■ Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard has left CAA Sports and several agents were trying to sign him last week.

TMG SIGNS CHAMBERLAIN: The Montag Group has signed recently retired MLB pitcher and two-time World Series champion Joba Chamberlain for broadcasting work.

Chamberlain, who turns 33 this month, retired from the field in October, after a 10-year career during which he pitched for the Yankees, Tigers, Royals and Indians and was part of the Yankees’ 2009 and Royals’ 2015 World Series-winning teams. Gideon Cohen will represent Chamberlain, who is doing some hosting work on SiriusXM’s MLB Channel. Cohen will be seeking national and local opportunities for him.

As reported last month, TMG signed former NFL running back DeMarco Murray. Since then TMG negotiated a deal for Murray to work as a college football analyst for FS1.

WASSERMAN SIGNS HOLDER: Wasserman has signed former Arizona State basketball star Tra Holder and negotiated a deal for him to join Fiat Torino in the Italian Serie A league.

Wasserman NBA agents Jason Ranne and George David are representing him. He formerly was represented by Independent Sports & Entertainment.
