Game Changers: Class of 2018

Thirty-five women in leadership roles for a wide range of sports business — from teams and leagues, to media and agencies, to sponsors and events — have been selected for recognition next month as part of Sports Business Journal/Daily’s eighth annual class of Game Changers.

They will be featured in the Sept. 10 issue of SBJ and celebrated on Sept. 12 in New York at the Game Changers: Women in Sports Business conference.

The conference will feature panel discussions on the state of women’s sports and sports business, and media coverage of women’s sports. The conference also will include interviews with Cathy Lanier, NFL chief security officer; Don Garber, Major League Soccer commissioner; Bea Perez, Coca-Cola senior vice president and chief of communications, public affairs, sustainability and partnerships; Jo Ann Ross, CBS Corp. president and chief advertising revenue officer; and Claude Silver, VaynerMedia chief heart officer.
