People: Executive Transactions

Colleges

The Summit League promoted Stephanie Sabaduquia to assistant commissioner of championships and sport administration, and hired Bryan Miller as assistant commissioner of championships and marketing. Miller was executive director of the Sioux Falls Sports Authority.

 

The University of Evansville promoted Jake Hill to assistant athletic director for ticketing and game operations and Scott Peace to assistant athletic director for marketing and fan engagement.

 

Oregon State University hired Matt Creagan as director of social media. Creagan was social media coordinator for the Brooklyn Nets.

 

Texas A&M University Associate Athletic Director for Game Management Mike Caruso will retire in August.

 

Football

The Detroit Lions promoted Eamonn Reynolds to director of football communications.

 

Hockey

The New Jersey Devils and Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment hired Ben Pincus as director of group events, Brad Fain as senior manager of ticket sales and Gabriel Quintero as manager of inside sales.

 

The New York Islanders hired Steve Pellegrini as assistant general manager. Pellegrini was vice president of hockey operations for the New Jersey Devils.

 

Marketing

Team One named Kimoon Kim management supervisor, Natalie Devine account executive and Lorna Brandt account coordinator.

 

Media

Christopher Calcinari was promoted to senior vice president of ESPN and ABC Sports remote production operations.

 

Motorsports

NASCAR promoted Gene Stefanyshyn to senior vice president and chief international officer, John Probst to vice president of innovation and racing development, John Bobo to vice president of racing operations and Scott Prime to vice president of strategic development.

 

The NHRA promoted Kristen Wentzell to vice president of national event marketing and Evan Jonat to vice president of live event marketing, and hired Ned Walliser as vice president of competition and Jeffrey Young as vice president of marketing and communications.

 

Olympics

USA Archery hired Geri Woessner as director of sponsorships and donor engagement. Woessner was director of sales for USA Swimming.

 

Sporting Goods and Apparel

Columbia Sportswear hired Andrew Burns as director of investor relations and competitive intelligence.

 

Reebok hired Karen Reuther as global creative director. Reuther was creative director and brand psychologist for Cast Collective.

 

Sports Commissions and Tourism Boards

The Charlotte Sports Foundation named Frank Kay director of communications and marketing. Kay was director of communications for Raycom Sports.

 

Awards and Boards

Populous named Sherri Privitera to its Americas regional board.

 

Other

Peter Ciaccia, race director of the TCS New York City Marathon and president of events for the New York Road Runners, will retire after the 2018 TCS New York City Marathon.

 

Combate Americas named Jacqueline Hernandez president. Hernandez was president and founder of the strategic consulting firm The M²Z Group.

 

Innovative Partnerships Group (IPG360) hired Matt Wiener as vice president of business development and consulting. Wiener was director of business development and partnership sales for Wasserman.

 

Endeavor hired Bozoma Saint John as chief marketing officer. Saint John was chief brand officer for Uber.

 

The Hatfield Group hired Chris Lamberth as a director. Lamberth was a vice president and marketing principal for HOK.

 

Kore Software promoted Adam Grow to executive vice president of customer success and business strategy and Marc Roots to senior vice president of product strategy, and hired Matt Roberts as a success manager for Europe Markets, based in London.

 

Riot Games promoted Gregg Travitz to esports business development and partnerships.

 

Teamworks hired Hilary Shaev as vice president of people and Marc Moschetto as chief marketing officer.

 

Vivid Seats hired Justine Miller as partnership coordinator.
