Dolphins’ charity puts money into cancer fight

Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross presented a check of more than $6 million to Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine on behalf of the Dolphins Cancer Challenge at a game Oct. 8. Doctors, cancer patients and survivors joined Ross for the presentation.

Who’s that bagger?

Los Angeles Clippers forward Sam Dekker and Chuck the Condor surprised Smart & Final store associates and shoppers as an “undercover bagger” at the Smart & Final Extra! in downtown Los Angeles last month. The event celebrated Smart & Final’s new status as the Clippers’ official grocery and warehouse store.
