Baseball
The Houston Astros promoted Mike Elias to assistant general manager for player acquisition; Brandon Taubman to senior director of baseball operations, research and innovation; Kevin Goldstein to special assistant to the general manager for player personnel; Oz Ocampo to special assistant to the general manager for baseball operations; Armando Velasco to director of minor league operations; Eve Rosenbaum to manager of international scouting; Charles Cook to manager of amateur scouting analysis; Matt Hogan to manager of pro scouting analysis; and Brendan Fournie to manager of baseball operations.

Basketball
The Orlando Magic named Adetunji Adedipe basketball operations assistant and assistant general manager for the NBA G League Lakeland Magic.

The NBA G League Santa Cruz Warriors promoted Ashley Holmes and Kelsey Kraskian to ticket sales account executives.

The Utah Jazz named Bart Sharp senior vice president of marketing and Jonathan Rinehart team president for the NBA G League Salt Lake City Stars. Sharp was general manager for the Stars, and Rinehart was vice president of communications for the Jazz.

The Portland Trail Blazers hired Jesse Elis as director of player health and performance.

The Golden State Warriors promoted Nick Bisho to vice president of suite sales and service; Mike Kitts to vice president of corporate partnerships; Eric Kwait to senior director of corporate partnerships; Lisa Goodwin to senior director of corporate communications; Anthony Silva to senior manager of ticket operations; Matt de Nesnera to manager of corporate communications; Jonny La to manager of financial planning and analysis; Christian Morales to IT security manager; Alma Hashimoto to payroll manager; Brian Witt to digital content producer; Jason Mark to senior coordinator of events; Jazmin Villanueva to coordinator of community relations; Alisa Petrucci to talent acquisition coordinator; Jen Koester to coordinator of team marketing; Robert Reed to senior account services executive; Jackson Drolet to senior account executive; and Rachel Franks and Gedeon Tegene to ticket sales account executives.

Colleges
The Atlantic 10 Conference promoted Jill Redmond to senior associate commissioner for governance and hired Matt Doherty as associate commissioner for men’s basketball.

The University of the Incarnate Word named Dr. Brian Wickstrom athletic director. Wickstrom was athletic director at the University of Louisiana Monroe.

The Big East Conference promoted Chris Schneider to senior associate commissioner for sports administration and championships; James Greene and Tania Kennedy to senior directors for championships; John Paquette to senior associate commissioner for sports media relations; and Briana Weiss to senior director of conference operations. The conference named Hanna Wilson office and conference services assistant.

The Southeastern Conference hired Lauren Taylor as director of marketing and competition. Taylor was assistant athletic director of marketing at the University of Maryland.

Columbia University hired Walter Brock as director of development. Brock was associate director of development for leadership gifts at the University of California, Berkeley.

Georgia Tech hired Ayo Taylor-Dixon as senior associate athletic director for external operations. Taylor-Dixon was senior associate athletic director for fan engagement at the University of Minnesota.

University of Denver vice chancellor for athletics and recreation Peg Bradley-Doppes will retire June 30. Bradley-Doppes will continue in her role but will shift her focus to high-end fundraising, coaching endowments and raising money for the Denver Tennis Park and other capital projects. Ron Grahame was promoted to day-to-day athletic director.

The University of Connecticut hired Michael Oblinger as senior associate athletic director for development. Oblinger was director of major gifts and the annual fund for the Tiger Foundation at Louisiana State University.

The University of Louisiana Monroe hired John Lewandowski as director of athletic media relations and Alex McCurdy as director of ticket sales and service. Lewandowski was associate athletic director for communications at Michigan State University, and McCurdy was a senior account executive at the University of South Alabama.

Morehead State University promoted Matt Schabert to director of athletic media relations and hired Drew Barnette as director of student-athlete services.

The University of South Florida named Marquita Armstead senior woman administrator, Kevin Toso senior associate athletic director and chief financial officer, and Yulander Wells senior associate athletic director for administration. Executive deputy athletic director Barry Clements will assume oversight of human resources, capital projects and the TBEP/Sun Dome Board.

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga named Mark Wharton vice chancellor and athletic director. Wharton was associate athletic director for development at Penn State University.

East Tennessee State University promoted Scott Carter to athletic director.

The University of North Carolina-Asheville hired Alexander Achorn as director of marketing and fan engagement. Achorn was director of marketing, promotions and game presentation at Gardner-Webb University.

Rutgers University hired Kevin VanDerzee as associate athletic director for finance and administration. VanDerzee was associate athletic director for business operations at the University of Louisiana Monroe.

The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley hired Brenda Codallo as assistant athletic director for academics. Codallo was academic coordinator for the student-athlete academic center at Florida International University.

Facilities
Atlanta Motor Speedway hired Jake Mullins as vice president of sales and Jon Shoemaker as director of operations.

Golf
The LPGA hired Mary Salter as controller and Kerrilyn Curtin as director of market research.

Hockey
USA Hockey promoted Madison Brown to manager of events, Andrew Ketterer to manager of social media and digital content, and Sheila May to USA Hockey Foundation manager of grants and stewardship. Mellissa Lewis was named manager of annual giving.

The Los Angeles Kings hired Peter Etcheberria as coordinator of ticket operations.

Law
Esports specialty law firm ESG Law hired Harris Peskin and Krista Hiner as associates.

Marketing
Wasserman promoted Greg Lawrence to executive vice president of basketball.

Lammi Sports Management hired Pete Monfre as executive vice president. Monfre was vice president of sales for Clear Channel Outdoor.

Van Wagner Sports & Entertainment hired David Coffey as director of sales and Leon Ryan as general manager at Samford University.

Media
Whistle Sports named Paul Kelly chief revenue officer. Kelly was chief partnership officer at AwesomenessTV.

Fox Sports hired Andrew Fegyveresi as senior vice president of communications.

Nielsen Sports promoted Co-Global Managing Director Glenn Lovett to global managing director.

TJC Media Ventures named Stephen Panus president.

Motorsports
The NHRA named Jessica Hatcher senior director of public relations and communications.

Multiteam Corporations
Monumental Sports & Entertainment named Grant Paranjape director of esports team and business operations. Paranjape was director of business development with Splyce.

Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment Chief Financial Officer Charlie Mierswa will assume the role of executive vice president of acquisitions and strategic adviser to the chief executive officer until his retirement in June. Chris Magee was promoted to chief administrative officer, and Eu-Gene Sung was hired as chief financial officer.

Soccer
Australian League club Sydney FC hired Danny Townsend as chief executive officer. Townsend was co-global managing director of Nielsen Sports.

Sac Soccer Holdings & Entertainment Holdings, owners of Sacramento Republic FC, named Kunal Merchant senior adviser; Ben Gumpert chief operating officer and senior adviser; Michael Thomas financial officer and senior adviser; and Jeff Koewler chief outside counsel.

Las Vegas Events named Amber Held event development specialist. Held was a sales manager for the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

Other
Goldin Auctions hired Jim Stefano as director of marketing and business development. Stefano was senior director of product development at Panini America.

The World Surf League hired Joseph Carr as chief strategy officer and head of international. Carr was senior vice president and head of international and content for the UFC.

The PGA Tour Policy Board named Mary Meeker an independent director.
