The Houston Astros promoted Israel Hinojosa to head groundskeeper.

Colleges
Fordham University hired Djenane Paul senior as associate athletic director and senior woman administrator. Paul was assistant athletic director for compliance and student services at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Old Dominion University promoted Ted Alexander to senior associate athletic director for external relations.

Georgia Tech hired Joeleen Akin as associate athletic director for student-athlete development and senior woman administrator. Akin was athletic director at Agnes Scott College.

Hofstra University hired Amanda Ghysel as senior assistant director of athletic communications. Ghysel was multimedia coordinator for Cornell University’s athletics communications department.

Facilities
IRG Sports + Entertainment promoted Pam Kendrick to president and general manager of Memphis International Raceway.

Richmond International Raceway promoted Shawn Stack to senior director of accounting, and hired Michael Waddell as vice president of marketing and communications. Waddell was senior associate athletic director for external operations and strategic communications at the University of Illinois.

Golf
The Thunderbirds, hosts of the Waste Management Phoenix Open presented by The Ak-Chin Indian Community, named Andy Markham 2017 tournament chairman and Carlos Sugich assistant tournament chairman.

Hockey
The Arizona Coyotes named Brian Sandy president and Doug Soetaert general manager of the American Hockey League’s Tucson Roadrunners.

The Columbus Blue Jackets promoted Becky Magaw to director of human resources and Matt Kill to ticket operations coordinator, hired Darla Owens as manager of the Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation and Caleb Horsley as partnership account specialist.

The Los Angeles Kings promoted Jennifer Pope to vice president of community relations; Chris Crotty to senior director of hockey development; Pat Donahue to senior director of digital and production; Rob McPherson to director of production; Therese Nguyen to director of partnerships activation; Pete Lisowski to manager or business analytics and project management; Cheyenne Cantor to coordinator of sales and service; AnnMarie Francis to coordinator of human resources; Chris Wohlers to producer; Lisa Dolan, TJ Cormier and Stephanie Nienhuis to senior account executives; and Michael Brady to account executive.
