Paul Griesemer

Associate vice president, senior project manager, HNTB

Gerardo Prado
Vice president, sports group director, HNTB

HNTB’s strength is in the college space, which dominates the firm’s current projects. The $256 million renovation of Arizona State University’s Sun Devil Stadium tops the list, followed by a north end zone replacement at Iowa’s Kinnick Stadium, where HNTB completed $90 million in upgrades in 2006. Prado returns to Iowa City after working on the previous job a decade ago. Separately, he’s got more college work at Stanford and Kentucky in addition to helping design Sacramento Republic FC’s new stadium. Griesemer, meanwhile, joined HNTB a year ago after spending 17 years at AECOM where he specialized in NFL stadiums. He’s serving as HNTB’s project manager for the Milwaukee Bucks’ arena project, where Populous is the lead architect.
