In The Office: Bill Daly, NHL

Now in his 19th year with the NHL, Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly admits that while he tries to be a bit more selective about the mementos he collects for his office from league events, his travels and whom he has met, it’s “normally just a further accumulation.”

However, among the pieces that provide a timeline to his career with the league, one particular group means the most to him – family pictures of his wife and three children. Near his desk sit photos of his oldest daughter, Taylor – one when she was 5 months old, taken the year Daly joined the NHL, and the other current, as a sophomore at Dartmouth, Daly’s alma mater.
