The Class A Lake County Captains hired Jen Yorko as assistant general manager.

Little League Baseball and Softball promoted Dan Velte to senior director of league development and regional operations and Brian McClintock to senior director of communications, moved Liz DiLullo Brown to vice president of marketing and communications, and hired Dallas Miller as director of digital media.

The Chicago Bulls hired Brad Seymour as president of their new D-League team. Seymour was vice president and general manager of the Class A Lake County Captains.

The Delaware 87ers promoted Larry Meli to team president.

The Harlem Globetrotters hired Howard Smith as president. Smith was senior vice president of content strategy for Globetrotters parent Herschend Enterprises.

Kennesaw State University hired Mike DeGeorge as assistant athletic director of communications and broadcasting.

Long Beach State promoted Kelli Gill to director of marketing.

Facilities
Sonoma Raceway named Courtney Kiser senior manager of marketing communications and hired Faruk Kugay as marketing and events manager.

The Detroit Lions hired Randy Edsall as director of football research and special projects. Edsall was coach at University of Maryland.

The Houston Golf Association hired John Sorrentino as vice president of business development. Sorrentino was senior vice president for sponsorships for the Super Bowl LI Host Committee.

Learfield Sports promoted Nick Garner to general manager for the University of Missouri.

Fox Networks Group named Jan Koeppen president of Fox Networks Group Europe, Carlos Martinez president of Fox Networks Group Latin America and Zubin Gandevia president of Fox Networks Group Asia.

OneUp Sports promoted John McCauley to vice president and general manager.

Wasserman Media Group promoted Debbie Spander to senior vice president of broadcasting and coaching.

Sports Illustrated hired Andrew Sharp as staff writer covering the NBA. Sharp was an editor for Grantland.

The NHRA named Brad Gerber vice president of sales and chief development officer.  

NASCAR hired Chris Littmann as senior manager of content and platform strategy. Littmann was deputy editor for Sporting News.

Oilers Entertainment Group hired Michael McFaul as assistant general manager of facility operations for Rogers Place and Sheena Way as assistant general manager of live entertainment for Rogers Place.

The Los Angeles 2024 Candidature Committee hired Terrence Burns as chief marketing officer.

SnowSports Industries America promoted Nick Sargent to president.

UFC hired Matt Neidl as director of marketing partnerships. Neidl was director of sponsorships for Traffic Sports.

World Wrestling Entertainment hired Joji George as vice president and general manager of WWE India.

The Arizona Community Foundation’s board of directors elected Tammy McLeod of APS and Marian Rhodes of the Arizona Diamondbacks as members.

The Orange Bowl Committee named Akerman LLP partner Michael Chavies president and chairman.

The U.S. Golf Association reappointed women’s committee chairman Stasia Collins and vice chairman Pam Murray to serve second one-year terms.

The Football Writers Association of America named Mark Anderson of the Las Vegas Review-Journal president.

The World Golf Foundation board of directors named PGA Tour Commissioner Tim Finchem chairman for 2016.

The L.A. Sports Council named Patrick McClenahan its 2015 Sports Executive of the Year following his work last year as president and CEO of LA2015, the organizing committee for the Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles.
