In The Office: Greg Brown, president and CEO, Learfield

Greg Brown isn’t really a desk guy. He never sits at the desk in his Plano, Texas, office, so he’s going to have it removed altogether.

“I want my office to feel collaborative and approachable, like you’re walking into the den for a conversation,” said Brown, Learfield president and CEO. “What I don’t want is for guests to feel like there’s an authority figure sitting on the other side of the desk.”

When the desk is removed, Brown will have his wish of an office that feels more like a warm and comfortable living room than a corporate environment.

Keepsakes of 30-plus years are all around him, but none mean more than the paintings from his daughter when she was younger.
