Colleges
Seton Hall University promoted Bryan Felt to senior associate athletic director for development and external affairs, and Kevin Sponzo to senior associate athletic director for facilities and operations.

The University of South Dakota promoted Bruce Fischbach to assistant athletic director for sports medicine, Drew DeGroot to director of compliance, Joe Thuente to assistant athletic director for athletic marketing and promotions, and Bryan Boettcher to assistant athletic director for sports information.

The University of Connecticut named Dr. Deena Casiero director of sports medicine. Casiero was head team physician and medical director of Hofstra University and tournament physician and director of player medical services for the U.S. Open Tennis Championships.

Western Illinois University hired Tori Niemann as assistant director of athletic academic services.

The University of New Hampshire hired De-Neita Peoples as assistant athletic director for compliance. Peoples was an assistant for compliance and communications at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and worked in the compliance department at Colgate University.

The University of California, San Diego promoted Wendy Taylor May to deputy athletic director.

The University of California, Riverside hired Daniel Heiss as associate director of development.

Texas A&M-Corpus Christi hired Jacob Bell as assistant director of media relations. Bell was assistant director of athletic communications for new media at Longwood University.

New Jersey Institute of Technology Athletic Director Lenny Kaplan added the title of assistant vice president.

USA Hockey named Kevin Margarucci manager of player safety.

The Columbus Blue Jackets promoted Zach Brown and Danielle Childers to premium seating specialists and hired Evan Lee as corporate development sales coordinator, Stephen Humphries as ticket operations coordinator and Joe Rudolph as director of finance and controller.

The Los Angeles Kings hired Brantt Myhres as head of the new player assistance department, and public address announcer Dave Joseph added the title of manager of alumni relations.

Sharks Sports & Entertainment promoted Doug Bentz to vice president of marketing and digital, Maggy Carlyle to counsel, Scott Emmert to vice president of media relations and broadcasting, and Steve Kirsner to vice president of booking and events. Joe Will was named vice president and assistant general manager for the San Jose Sharks and general manager for the American Hockey League’s San Jose Barracuda. Flavil Hampsten was hired as executive vice president and chief sales and marketing officer, and Neda Tebatabaie as vice president of business intelligence.

Churchill Downs named Marcia Dall executive vice president and chief financial officer. Dall was executive vice president and chief financial officer at Erie Indemnity Co.

The Aspire Group promoted Penny Adams to director of human resources, Patty Spielman
to manager of payroll and benefits administration, Daniel Wang to team leader of strategic consulting and research, and Gina Roberto to coordinator of strategic consulting and research; Lara Ceaser to team leader of group sales and events and Deanna Terelle to senior service and retention representative at the University of Maryland; and R.J. Zimmerman to senior sales consultant at the University of Minnesota. The company hired Kelle Dalder and Marc Beachem as sales and service consultants, Marcus Toppen as new business consultant and Rob Mullowney as CRM and database coordinator at the University of Kansas; Jenna Hornik as a sales consultant at Miami University; Myles O’Brien as sales consultant at Tulane University; Matt Marble as business development consultant at Arizona State University; and Jay Potter as sales and service consultant at Eastern Michigan University.

Jack Morton Worldwide named Bruce Henderson chief creative officer, effective in January. Henderson is chief creative officer for North America at Geometry Global.

Lammi Sports Management hired Carley Sanfilippo as event manager.

Pivot Marketing Agency hired Michael Cheney as vice president. Cheney was head of global brand and strategic partnerships for Symantec.

Creative Artists Agency promoted Brian Duckler to an executive for the company’s sports consulting division and Jen Entin to an executive in its hockey department.

FanDuel hired Jim Ross as general manager for the company’s league and team marketing. Ross was executive vice president of business operations and strategy for Palace Sports & Entertainment.

SMG Insight named Richard Brinkman director of strategy and growth, Tracy Schoenadel senior vice president for North America and Joseph Eapen senior vice president for India. Brinkman was global head for KantarSport, Schoenadel a vice president for Kantar Media, and Eapen a senior vice president for South Asia at Repucom.
