Basketball
The NBA hired Juan Uro as executive vice president of league finance and global strategy. Uro was a partner in the strategy and corporate finance practice at McKinsey & Co.

The National Basketball Players Association hired Matteo Zuretti as director of international relations and marketing.

Colleges
The University of Pennsylvania named Roger Reina senior associate athletic director for external affairs, Sherryta Freeman senior associate athletic director for student development, and Michelle Dolce senior associate athletic director for finance and internal operations.

The University of Central Florida promoted John Kvatek to senior associate athletic director for external operations.

Temple University named Mary McElroy executive senior associate athletic director and senior woman administrator and promoted Kristy Sromovsky to associate athletic director of compliance and student-athlete affairs and Tara Evans to associate director of the Nancy and Donald Resnick Academic Support Center for Student-Athletes. McElroy was director of partner services for the Collegiate Licensing Co.
 
Oregon State University named Zack Lassiter deputy athletic director for external operations. Lassiter was senior associate athletic director for external operations at the University of Central Florida.

The University of Georgia named Mónica Lebrón associate athletic director for development. Lebrón held the same position at the University of Mississippi.

Mercer University promoted Sybil Blalock to deputy athletic director and Brian Gerrity to senior associate athletic director.

The University of Nebraska hired Dr. Todd Stull as director of sports psychology.

The University of North Florida hired Lauren Brooks as director of athletic marketing.

The University of New Orleans promoted Jacob Ludwikowski to associate athletic director for compliance and student-athlete services.

Furman University hired Mike Buddie as athletic director. Buddie was senior associate athletic director for administration and development at Wake Forest University.

San Jose State University promoted Liz Jarnigan to senior associate athletic director and senior woman administrator.

San Diego State University promoted Lesley Fong to assistant athletic director for operations-special events and campus relations, David Noll to assistant athletic director for operations-event management, and Tim Baron to assistant athletic director for operations-facilities.

The University of Southern Mississippi hired Kaylie Shannon as assistant athletic director for sports technology. Shannon was assistant manager of video production at Colorado State University.

The Citadel hired Kathy Kroupa as associate athletic director for internal operations and senior woman administrator. Kroupa was senior woman administrator and softball coach at Susquehanna University.

Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis Athletic Director Michael Moore will step down, effective Aug. 14.

Vassar College hired Michelle Walsh as director of athletics and physical education. Walsh was associate athletic director and senior woman administrator at SUNY Geneseo.

Football
The Jacksonville Jaguars promoted Tad Dickman to senior manager of public relations.

Golf
The PGA of America named Wendell Haskins director of sports and entertainment relations.

Hockey
The Chicago Blackhawks hired former player Jamal Mayers as community liaison.

The New Jersey Devils named Tom Fitzgerald assistant general manager. Fitzgerald held the same position with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Octagon promoted Bo Heiner to senior vice president; Matt Murphy and Erick Teach to vice president; and Tiffany Grame, Jared Kirschner, and Lindsay Wynalek to group director.
