The University of South Florida named Mark Muhlhauser senior associate athletic director and associate vice president for development. Muhlhauser was associate athletic director at Northern Illinois University.

Boise State University named Dusty Clements associate athletic director for development. Clements was assistant athletic director for development at the University of Oklahoma.

Drexel University promoted Laura White to senior associate athletic director.

Oregon State University named Zach Nyborg associate athletic director and chief of staff. Nyborg was assistant athletic director and director of football operations for BYU.

California State University-East Bay named Joan McDermott athletic director. McDermott was athletic director at Metropolitan State University of Denver.

Northwest Nazarene University Athletic Director Bill Rapp stepped down.

The Big South Conference named Julie Kindinger assistant director of multimedia and promoted Sherika Montgomery to assistant commissioner of compliance, Stephanie Roe to director of administration, Matt VanSandt to director of championships and Fletcher Jones to assistant director of marketing.

Abilene Christian University promoted Cory Driskill to senior associate athletic director, Grant Boone to assistant athletic director for external operations and Ray Garvin to assistant athletic director for compliance.

DePaul University promoted Kathryn Statz to senior associate athletic director.

The University of Bridgeport named Marushka Eddy assistant athletic director for compliance.

The University of Maryland promoted Troy Wainwright to senior associate athletic director for stewardship and alumni relations.

Facilities
Charlotte Motor Speedway promoted Lindsay Metcalfe to senior director of ticket services and operations and named Jason Christofferson director of ticketing operations and services. Christofferson was a senior client support specialist for TicketMaster.

Dover International Speedway promoted Michael Tatoian to track president. Tatoian retains his position with Dover Motorsports as executive vice president and chief operating officer.

Shawmut Design & Construction President Les Hiscoe will assume the role of CEO, replacing Tom Goemaat when Goemaat retires July 1.

The Carolina Panthers promoted Steven Drummond to public relations director. He replaces Charlie Dayton, who becomes director of historical and alumni affairs.

Billy Casper Golf named Kelly Searight national sales manager.

The Columbus Blue Jackets named Patrick Thompson manager of advertising and creative services and Maggie Walters manager of education and community partnerships.

Cumulus Media hired Bruce Gilbert as senior vice president of sports. Gilbert was senior vice president of sports operations for iHeartMedia’s Premiere Radio Networks overseeing Fox Sports Radio.

ESPN promoted Leah LaPlaca to vice president of talent planning and negotiation.

MSG Media promoted Adam Levine to executive vice president of business affairs.

Home Team Sports named Bill Robinson vice president of partnership development. Robinson was director of national ad sales for Screenvision.

Turner Sports technical manager Greg Gunn left the company.

Mazda North American Operations named Jade Gurss director of communications for its prototype team in the Tudor United SportsCar Championship.

Multiteam Companies
AMB Group, parent company of the Atlanta Falcons, MLS Atlanta and Atlanta Falcons Stadium Co., hired Mike Egan as senior vice president and general counsel. Egan was a partner in the corporate practice group for the King & Spalding law firm.

Pegula Sports & Entertainment named Buffalo Bills vice president of business development Bruce Popko to a similar role.

Olympics
The Canadian Olympic Committee named Olympic gold medalist Jean-Luc Brassard chef de mission for the 2016 Rio Games.

USA Hockey named Jon Gomez manager of communications. Gomez was an editor for the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency’s TrueSport program.

USA Swimming named Lucinda McRoberts chief counsel and director of legal affairs. She was with the law firm Bryan Cave.

Soccer
The New York Red Bulls named Ali Curtis sporting director. Curtis was senior director of player relations and competition for MLS.

The USL Pro Pittsburgh Riverhounds named Richard Nightingale president.

Sporting Goods and Apparel
Nike named Tom Peddie vice president and general manager of emerging markets. Peddie replaces Roland Wolfram, who was set to retire effective last week. Also, Nike Chief Information Officer Anthony Watson resigned.

Johnson Outdoors Watercraft named Joel Abrahamsson a pro staffer.

Point 3 Basketball named James Williams national team sales manager. Williams was manager of basketball operations for the NBA D-League’s Canton Charge.

Amazon named Eric Mastalir principal for business development, focusing on sports, media and social verticals. Mastalir was chief commercial officer for the Seattle Seahawks and Sounders.

The UFC named Kenneth Berger executive vice president and general manager of Asia. Berger was international vice president for Asia for IMG.

Minor League Baseball’s Baseball Internet Rights Co. named Ken Babby, Akron RubberDucks owner and CEO, as chairman of the board of directors.

Fifth Third Bank appointed Cincinnati Bengals executive vice president Katie Blackburn to its board of directors.
