Marketplace Roundup: Cricket West Indies Signs Colonial Group Int'l

Cricket West Indies on Monday unveiled Bermuda-based insurance company Colonial Group Int'l as the title sponsor of the Regional Super50 domestic championship. CWI officials also announced CGI as title sponsor of the five-match ODI series against England, which started on Wednesday. The Super50 has been without sponsorship for the last three editions (JAMAICA GLEANER, 2/20).

HyperX was announced as the official peripheral and memory and SSD partner of the inaugural ESL Katowice Royale -- Featuring Fortnite. All tournament PCs and PlayStation 4 gaming stations will be equipped with HyperX peripherals (HyperX). 

ONE Championship announced a collaboration with Singaporean designer Mark Ong, who owns custom design company SBTG Surplus & Co. The company created a custom camouflage design exclusive to ONE Championship (ONE Championship). 

Filipino telecom PLDT Inc. wireless services arm Smart Communications launched esports team "Omega" in collaboration with Sterling Global Dragons. The team will field squads in Dota 2, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Tekken 7, which will be included in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games (THE ESPORTS OBSERVER, 2/19).

Tokyo 2020 announced Tanaka Holdings as an official supporter, the third domestic tier of the Tokyo 2020 sponsorship program. The company was attributed the category of "Precious Metals and Jewelry" (Tokyo 2020).
