Djokovic Partners With Universal Tennis As Investor

Novak Djokovic has made an investment in Universal Tennis, which looks to make the game more affordable, accessible and fun for players at all levels. Djokovic will partner with the company to expand the adoption of its Universal Tennis Rating, which measures all players regardless of age, gender and geography on the same scale. He will also help support new events, collaborate on philanthropic endeavors and develop initiatives to deepen the business of the sport (Universal Tennis). Universal Tennis Chair & CEO Mark Leschly said one thing his company has been missing is "technology in tennis." He said Djokovic is "extraordinarily passionate about that and sees the need for change" ("Tennis Channel Live," 1/20).
