League Two side Forest Green Rovers Owner Dale Vince "stepped up the pressure" on League Championship side Bolton Wanderers Owner Ken Anderson by "producing a T-shirt for disgruntled fans of the club," according to Martyn Ziegler of the LONDON TIMES. Vince, a green energy entrepreneur who described Anderson as a "rogue chairman" on Monday, "urged Bolton fans to buy the T-shirts," which carry the message: "No Ken Do." Made from organic cotton, they cost £10 ($12.80) and profits will be given to the Bolton Wanderers Supporters' Trust. League One side Accrington Stanley Chair Andy Holt "welcomed Vince's comments." Holt: "If we don’t stand up for what is right then there will be no change" (LONDON TIMES, 1/9). Ziegler also reported Anderson "attempted to answer his critics with a lengthy column" on Bolton's website in which he quoted Winston Churchill and the poet John Lydgate. Anderson called Vince "one of the strangest people" he has met in football and insisted "it was he who attempted to restructure" the Chris Doidge deal. Anderson also made reference to Vince’s veganism -- Forest Green serves only vegan food -- by posting web links to a previous row Vince had with League Two side Carlisle United Chair Andrew Jenkins. Anderson said in his column, "I get inspiration from some of the quotes of Winston Churchill and hopefully the following will help us all get through these difficult times. 'If you’re going through hell, keep going.' As the English poet John Lydgate wrote: ‘You can’t please all of the people all of the time'" (LONDON TIMES, 1/9).
