Media Notes: AS Roma Inks Deal With Twitter

Serie A side AS Roma is the first Italian football club to agree to an exclusive content partnership with Twitter. The club can can offer content to potential sponsors of the social network (AS Roma). 

Ukrainian cable operator Volia launched a new subscription live and on-demand football service, Volia Football+, following its agreement with Media Group Ukraine to secure Champions League football rights in the country. The service allows subscribers to watch live and on-demand coverage of all Champions League and Europa League matches without advertising, with other content including reviews and highlights also to be made available (DIGITAL TV EUROPE, 12/18).
